Impact
First customer-facing, repeatable learning product, 6 courses, 30 lessons, 5 hours of content
This project evolved over two years, embodying true iteration. Year one, the strategy and marketing teams approached the Learning & Development team with webinar recordings they wanted to deliver asynchronously to a group of solar vendors participating in a state solar incentive program in Illinois.
We elevated that product using Camtasia to segment the content and add custom intro and outro slides, delivering it via a custom LMS dashboard to an initial cohort of 20 vendors.
Year two, we took what we learned and built Rise 360 eLearning courses instead, driven by efficiency gains and the opportunity to create a more cohesive, branded experience. The audience grew to two, biannual cohorts (40 vendors total) taking fully self-paced courses, with plans to expand further.
This was the L&D team's first customer-facing learning product, and I owned it end-to-end: planning scope and hours with my director, leading course development and working with a senior instructional designer on Rise custom block creation, and partnering with our LMS administrator and IT to build out infrastructure for external access, internal data security, and scalability. That infrastructure became the foundation for a reusable learning product we now offer to clients.
The final curriculum for this offering spans six courses, thirty lessons, and five hours of instructional content, with Rise 360 custom blocks designed to make complex compliance content more engaging and accessible.
